Nausea, Intense Pain, Nerve Block After Taking Gabapentin. On Lisinopril, Hydrochlorazine. When Will It Start Working?

I was placed on 300mg of Gabapentin 11 days ago and have some pretty bad nausea, although I had some prior from the pain . The pain still pretty intense. Had a nerve block same day and it helped a lot the first 7 days. Also started on Lisinopril 20 Mg-Hydrochlchlorazine same day. How long does it take for Gabapentin to start working?

Hi, gabapentine is not a drug fot cure of the pain, it will help to minimise the pain perception. so that you will feel less pain. Nerve block is for pain relief for few days. Lisinopril, and hydrochlor thiazine are the get down the hypertension. Gabapentin in some people may show nausea, and it can be controlled by some P.P.I.
You didn't mention what pain you are getting, what ever the pain you have , can have relief, with neurotropic injections along with your routine drugs. Thank you.
