Nausea, Sinus Headache, Gurgling Stomach, Stomach Pain. Endoscopy Scheduled

I have been seeing a dr over a period of four weeks. I am scheduled for an endoscopy . My symptoms are nausea , sinus headache, gurgling stomach sometimes but mostly in the evening and early morning. The stomach pain is between my belly button and lower rib cage and noticeably centered above my belly button. The symptoms can come and go. Feel better when I eat. No changes in stool or frequency of urination . Some nasal drip from allergies down my throat. Had migraine headaches as a child but none for the past 25 years. Have had stomach issues in the past couple of years but they go away. Had a colonoscopy two years ago and was given ten year period to come back.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM
After going through your history,as you are already planned for a Upper GI Endoscopy,it would give answer to problem of pain in abdomen which according to your history may be because of APD ( Acid Peptic Disease) that is a dudenal or gastric ulcer as pain is decreased by eating.
Gurgling sound may be because of increased motility of gut.
Once your diagnosis of APD is confirmed it can be treated accordingly, by antacids and drugs which suppress acid production it heals in 4 to 6 week time.
If required a H pylori work up may be done like a duodenal biopsy and/or carbon urea breath test.
If positive a triple therapy with antibiotics and PPI may cure and prevent relapse.
Good Luck to you
