my husband has been on nicotine patches for 6 days and he is starting to experience excruciating neck pain and shoulder pain. could the nicotine patches be the cause? He also played golf 7,8,9 days ago (3 days in a row). but hadn t experienced neck pain until yesterday (a week later). He hasn t lifted anything out of the ordinary.
nicotine patches cannot cause this kind of neck pain. they may cause some irritation in the skin region where it is applied. the reason of his current problem has to be diagnosed by a orthopedician.
nicotine patch is a kind of replacement therapy, presently there is a anti-craving drug available which will help him quit smoking quickly
