your advise on this is needed.my age is 24,married,5'5 height,51kgs.i had mild intermittant pain in abdomen since 4days.i took pelvic scan.the result was as follows:endometrium is thick and bright measuring 10mm.uterus is normal.appearance of ovaries is suggestive of polycystic ovaries.mild free fluid noted in left adnexa and pouch of douglas, ovaries show echogenic stroma with multiple peripherally located follicles.R.ovary measures 2.5*2.1cm.left ovary 3.8*2.2cm and shows a corpus luteal cyst.both adnexae show no solid or cystic mass lesion seen.my question is why is the mild pain?i had my last periods on mar24 and still i havent got my periods.pregnancy test is negative.i dont have kids now and no plans now.will this cause any problems in conceiving in the future? What should i do now and how can this problem solved? Is there any serious problem to me? Thank u in advance for ur valuable reply.
Thank you for your reply on HCM. In my opinion you are suffering from polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD). It is seen in young age group. Symptoms are lower abdominal pain, menstrual abnormalities due to hormonal imbalance, multiple cyst in ovary in scans and infertility. So in my opinion you should consult gynecologist and discuss these things with him.
