Need Information About Ineffective Breathing Patterns

Hi, my question is based on an elderly person s ongoing pain. My question is, his current temperature is 38 degrees Celsius, HR 106 bpm and his respiration rate is 28 breaths/minute; what does this information tell us about ineffective breathing patterns ? I know his vital signs are above average but is there anything else I can get from this information?

With higher body temperature there is increase in pulse rate and occasionally breathing too is rapid showing poor lung capacity to illness. However the parameters mentioned by you are within limits of body fever and may be present in younger patient also.So do not worry unless your patients vitals do not correspond to illness
