Need Insight On Hypomenorrhea

hi, may i know the causes of post abortive hypomenorrhea ? 6 months back i under went to DNC due to missedabortion and it was my first pregnancy and i married a year and half ago. From last four months i have very scanty periods, Could you pls suggest me the causes and its treatment

Hi,

I think that less menstruation can be due to a lot of causes but the hormonal causes needs to be excluded first. I would suggest you to do a thyroid profile test and prolactin test done. Also, to do a ultrasound examination of lower abdomen to rule out polycystic ovarian disease and start a course of iron folic acid tablet for 30 days.
