I recently lost my nail on my big toe, i wanted to use an antiobiotic, Bactrim to take to rid of any infection,
I am diabetic and my feet are in good shape, except for this.i'm doing all the neccessary stuff to keep it clean and such.what do u think?]

Vicky Hi I think you are headed for the right direction, Keeping your sugar level in control is important to prevent infection of the toe. Using antibiotic is not necessary unless you have signs of inflammation. If you do have Bactrim it is not bad to apply it as a preventative measure. Keep the area dry and avoid moisture as much as possible for a few days.
