Need Treatment For Enlarged Lymph Nodes On The Neck
I have enlarged lymph nodes on the right side of my neck from under the jaw to the bottom of my neck. My Dr. Says we are just going to watch them. I have not seen any change in about 3weeks. Shouldn t some kind of tests be made to see why they are enlarged. This could be something serious and I am concerned.

1. If you do not have any throat infection or no fever, then enlarged lymphnodes needs to viewed seriously.
2. You can ask your doctor to get an Fine needle aspiration cytology of lymphnode done to rule out any non-infectious pathology.
3. Lymphnode, once enlarged, will take time to reduce. However, if you are not on antibiotics for the same, further FNAC or biopsy may be essential.
