General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Low grade fever with no sore throat and no infection in ear , so this type of fever may be due to these reasons , these include.
1 Typhoid fever, diagnosis can be confirmed by Widal test and serology test .
2 Malaria , as I have noted in my many patient with such symptoms malaria . Get in blood examination for malarial parasite .
3 Teething particularly first time naturally elevated temperature particularly over forehead and palm and sole of child . Because eruption of teeth causes rupture of gum layers so infection and fever. Take care about and in such cases usually I prescribe calcium syrup with paracetamol suspension ( 10 mg / kg body weight ).
Good luck.
