Need Treatment For Hearing Problem

I got slapped in the ear 4 days ago and can t hear very well out of it. It does not hurt but it gets annoying to be able to only hear through one ear. I tend to have a good amount of wax in my ears. Could that have gotten pushed back and be blocking my hearing or could it be something else?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to HCM.

Kindly consult a ENT doctor for examination of the ear (Otoscopy). It is quite possible that due to slapping your tympanic membrane has had traumatic rupture.

If at all there is any excessive wax , your doctor shall advice you wax diluting drops like Soliwax that soften hard wax and then you can get your ear cleaned in the out patient department.

Hope this answers your query .
