Never Had Periods. Diagnosed Small Uterus. Pregnancy Possible?
i'm 28 years old and i've never got my period. I went to a doctor when i was 18 years old and he told me i have a small uterus, it's as small as a dot. He said everything else is normal...my husband and i want a baby so bad but the doctor said my uterus is too small to carry a baby..is there anybody out there that can help me. Is there any chance of me getting pregnant? Does anyone out there have the same problem? How can i get pregnant with a small uterus
Not really sure of what the doctor told you but if he did tell you your chances of becoming pregnant were poor then its likely you have an atrophic or malformed uterus which is incompatible with pregnancy.
What you have is a condition known as primary amenorrhoea which implies you have
never had your menses. This is a common feature in people with uterine abnormalities.
However, the above has to be confirm with another ultrasound by a qualified and experience personnel and you should be evaluated as well by a gynecologist if your primary amenorrhoe is actually uterus related or related to some other factors and for an eventual management which could include use of surrogate mothers in case of uterine abnormalities.
Best regards and hope this helps you,
