Newborn Baby Not Crying, Not Passing Urine. Creatinine Level Is High. What To Do?

Hello Doctor, i have a new born baby with some abnormal symptoms and have done number of tests by now. He is just 3 days old now. He has not cried or making any sound. it looks like his chest has been chocked or so. We have been advised to do thiroide test and body scanning etc. We are waiting for the tests results now. Today, we noticed he did not passed the urine since last night and his body color changing to pale yellow sounds like symptoms of Joundice. We have been told that his creatines are very high.. what we must do besides waiting for doctors help. Pls share your views.. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Your baby requires further examination and a NICU admission.

This is a emergency and such scenario can arise because of several causes.

Some of the causes include sepsis, hypoglycemia, shock etc.

Do not wait and contact the emergency at the earliest possible.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
