Newborn W/spot On Her Liver, What Possible Things Could This Be ?
My daughter's sonogram of her baby showed a small spot on the babies liver. Once the baby has been born it and had another sonogram and baby still has the spot on her liver. The spot hasn't changed in size and baby has no side affects and is perfectly healthy. A surgeon has ordered an MRI. What possible things could this be??

Most likely it will be a hemangioma. There is little to worry about esp since both scans did not indicate it has become larger.
MRI is the right approach to it. It might require a biopsy as well.
