No Sensation For Sex After Removal Of Ovarian Tumor. Has Any Nerve Damaged?
I had an ovarian tumor removed in 1989 via a bikini cut and had a c section in 2003. since then Ive realized I have no sensation for sex. Can this have to do with the severing of nerves being cut open twice? I dont know where the nerve damage can lead. Can it go to the vaginal area and create a numbing feeling for no sensation for sex? Thanks.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The removal of ovarian tumor should not interfere with the sensation of sex or orgasm. The superficial nerves supplying the vaginal mucosa are not affected in the procedure. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. hi.Decreased sensation in vagina is not related with surgeries.Because sensations are always in outer third of vagina which is v richly supplied with nerves.I think you are suffering from hypo active sexual desire disorder .Do you have some other symptoms of depression like decrease interest in daily work, decrease libido .decrease pleasure etc. gd luck dr Viniita Jhuntrraa
