No Signs Of Periods After Laparoscopic Ovarian Drilling. Is The Delay Due To The Treatment?

Hi,
My wife has gone through Laparoscopic ovarian drilling on 4th of May, her last menstrual cycle was on 21st of April but till now she doesn't have any signs of getting the periods.
Before the laparoscopy she always had irregular menses. Can you please let me know is the delay due to the treatment ? Is it normal ? and how will me know that the laparoscopy was successful.
