reason being u might have developed otitis media following cold...the noise u hear is known as tinnitus...

rx-azithromycin(500mg/day for 7days)+anticold(ex-trade name-serayas bid)+nasal decongestants-sinarest-s bid) for 7days...

otitis media occur due to obstruction of eustachian tube following cold...there will be collection of secretions multiplication of bacteria and inflammation of middle ear...

tinnitus is subjective....it will resolve after treatment...

u must keep ur ears dry and clean..nevr use ear bud.....coz it will push the wax inside...

actually normal process of wax is it will gradually shedd off from inside to outside..wen u use ear buds,,u r pushing outcoming wax inside...it may also cause tinnitus...

Hello
Welcome To HCM
As you have persistant noise in the ear,
It may be due to wax in the ear which is the commonnest cause of this type of symptomes.
so i will consult you to your doctor
i will also advise you to dont insert any thing inside the ear to clean it. other wise it may be harmful
ok
take care
