Normally A Very Healthy 40 Something Year Old Female. Only
Normally a very healthy 40 something year old female. Only medical history is mild chronic thrombocytopenia and L)sided hydronephrosis (no symptoms-incidental finding on medical test in the military) I'm a critical care trained nurse with about 20 years experience. Have always had the odd palpitation here are there (I then back off from the caffeine) however now am getting very regular thumps in the chest. I'm assuming they are ventricular escape beats as i feel a 2-3 second pause before a thump in the chest with sensation of pending doom. I am really embarrassed about it as I'm concerned that it ciuld be anxiety and I know if i wore a holter monitor it would magically disappear. I'm so busy and don't want to waste mine or the doctor's time
