Nose Injury, Severe Bleeding. Swelling, Brain Trauma, Headaches, Neck Pain, Have Bipolar. What Can I Expect?

I was hit in the face at 18 by my stepfather full fisted in the face twice...he landed the punches at my nose. I had severe bleeding and extreme swelling. Both my eyes were almost swollen shut and black and blue, I am now 55 and still have emotional pain which I am seeking help for, as there as more abuse for all my siblings. I, however was the oldest and therefore the one the would protect. Since this happened in 1977 if there could have been some kind of mild brain trauma? I have suffered from headaches and severe neck pain most my life along with major depression and my pyscritist suspects I fall some where with in the bi-polarI spectrum mid to upper range ( tend to dismiss this but am taking lamictal...he also thought ADD but I have stopped all meds for that. I am now on disability and have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, major depressive disorder,severe anxiety disorder with PTSD.

I have noted your medical problems

I feel that you may have anxiety and emotional problem which can be helped by a psychiatrist and clinical neuropsychologist. Apart from medications, you need regular counselling to overcome your problem.
