Nosebleed While Kissing. What Could Be The Reason?
When my girlfriend and I kiss and start to become passionate, after a while I'll get a nose bleed. For the first 6 months this never happened, all of a sudden within the past 4 months it happens almost every time. I do tend to get nosebleeds but it seems to almost always occur right when we start becoming more passionate with eachother.
Hi, I feel sympathetic with you but the reason can lie in your excitement and raising of blood pressure at that time. Please get yourself examined by an ENT after you have a bleed and if there is no bleeding area on anterior rhinoscopy, there is more chance of a posterior bleed which can be because of hypertension. It can be a transient hypertension. So, see a physician, get your BP monitored and if need be, start treatment. Also get your coagulation profile done and do not take NSAIDs and any blood thinning drugs (if you are taking any). You may need to undergo a nasal endoscopic examination to locate the site of bleeding. Regards
