Not Getting Sleep After Taking Lefra For Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Hi Doctor, I m 66 years old woman who is suffering from Reumatoid Artritis, I m taking a tablet called LEFRA 10MG for almost 15 years. Now i m not getting sleep at all after i was operated my both knees (Knee Replacement) Can i take a ZOLFRESH*5 to get sleep... Please help me i really not slept from 3 days....

I read your question carefully and I am sorry about the sleeping difficulties you are experiencing.

Zolfresh (Zolpidem) is one of the most widely used medications to aid sleep. It has no contraindication for your condition and you can take it, if 5mg do not work 10mg may also be tried. It does have some potential for dependance and tolerance but it's minor compared to other drugs. Also if you are not sleeping due to pain, then pain management must also be considered.
