Noticed A Rash On The Right Side Of The Stomach After Umbilical Surgery

I had umbilical hernia surgery about 6 weeks ago. About a week ago I developed a rash on right side of my stomach. Now rash has started to spread down right leg. Really itches especially at night. Also that day rash started , I had lifted a couple of heavy tires earlier that day.

That rash might be a side effect of the plaster/transpore which might have been used over the operated site to keep the guaze in place.
If that is so, it'll come down in few days and avoid using irritant plasters/dressings.
You might have to consult a dermatologist if your rash doesn't come down with Tab cetrizine or levocetrizine or chlorphenyramine which can be taken once daily before bed.
