Nuclear Stress Test Shows Artery Blockage. Fatigue, Sweating, Shortness Of Breath, Chest Pressure
I had a Nuclear Stress Test done on Sept. 13th and on the 16th the nurse called and said that I had a blockage in the artery going across the front of my heart and that the doctor wanted to do an angiogram. I told her that I wanted to have it done and she said that she would call me with the information. I have called 5 times to speak with the nurse and she has not returned my calls. I get the feeling that no one thinks this is as important as I do. Over the past 6 months I have developed severe fatigue to the point that now I can barely get up and do anything. If I do, I break out in a full body sweat, dripping off of my face. In the last 4 days I have developed more shortness of breath and a pressure in my chest like someone is reaching in there and squeezing my heart. I am so tired that I slept all night the night before, all day yesterday and all night last night. I am so tired right now that I could fall asleep. What should I do.
If the clinic you called did not returned to you, do not wait more. Change clinic or doctor to get a prompt response for the date of angiogram and start immediate therapy according to angiogram.
