Numbness In Fingers, Weakness, Rapid Breathing. Taken Lisinopril, Savella And Plaquinil. What Is Going On?
Hello there, Doctor. I take Lisinapril, Savella, and Plaquinil at breakfast. When it is cold, My finger tips and the tips of my toes go numb, so my doctor prescribed Procardia. I took it along with my other medicines and felt terrible in about a half hour, was breathing rapidly and felt very weak. Would it be better to take the procardia before breakfast or at some other time? Thank you for your consideration of this situation. Bev Allen
It can cause headaches, reflex tachycardia and edema of feet along with flushing of the face.
I do not think so there is any interaction between this and the other mtablets you are taking, also taking before or after food does not matter much for this medication.
If you are not able to tolerate this medication, may be you need to change it.
Thanks.

Hi Procardia is nifedipine which is a calcium channel blocker used in the treatment of cold induced vasospasm . It can cause headaches, reflex tachycardia and edema of feet along with flushing of the face. I do not think so there is any interaction between this and the other mtablets you are taking, also taking before or after food does not matter much for this medication.
