Numbness, Sharp Pain In Head After Doing Root Canal. Treated For Migraine. Pain Persist. Cause?
I have pain like numbness razor blade on my left side of my head? I had a ct scan showed nothing. Had a crown put on in Jan. Then a root canal on same tooth in Feb. Pain started on Feb.13 treated me as a migraine gave me Demerol & gravo, tordal & gravel for 3 days in a row. Then got the ct scan tordal/gravel, morphine/ gravel did not touch the pain. went on Mon. For dry needling pain is still there.

Hello and welcome to hcm forum,
The root canal treated tooth has to evaluated clinically by a dentist.
If there is re-infection/peri-apical infection,tooth has to be root canal treated again.
Maintain oral hygiene well.
Once the infected pulp has removed completely,permanent restoration can be done.
Crown has to be placed appropriately,without any high points.
Also check occlusion after placing crown.
Take complete course of antibiotics too.
