Oily Waves In The Sight Like Fumes On Hot Day At Gas Station, Ripple Affect Of Objects In Sight. Ringing In Ears, Dizziness. Suggest

Hello. I was reading the ladies question about having oily waves with her sight. I too am experiencing similar issue. However, I would describe it as looking more like fumes at a gas station on a hot day. It seems to follow the object im looking in like a ripple affect. I also have ringing in my ears and a little dizzie.

First of all , you have not mentioned your age and was it the first time that you experienced this ripple affect , and what was the duration of this effect ? Did you have proper sleep and rest ? This could be just psychological as you read about some lady having oily waves with her sight . Other reason could be floaters due to viterous degeneration . I would suggest you to visit your eye doctor to get your refraction done and complete evaluation of posterior segment . Ringing in ears could be tinnitus , and for that I would suggest you to visit your Ear nose and throat surgeon for definitive diagnosis and treatment .
