Old Aged, Problem With Chronic Tearing Of Eyes, Had Cataract Removal, Implanted Lens In Both Eyes.

I am 83, in fair medical condition for my age, and have a problem with chronic tearing of my eyes. I have had recent catarac removal, and implanted lens in both eyes. This seems to have been very successful, and i am enjoying greatly improved vision without glasses, which i have worn since age 12.....however, I continue to have tearing of both eyes, usually when I am active, and much less when inactive.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
It seems from the history that you are probably having watering from the eyes because of age related changes involving the lacrimal drainage system or because of inflammations of lacrimal drainage system.
This needs to be evaluated from ophthalmologist to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
