On Beta Cap. Advised To Stop It. After Stopping Feel Dizzy, Heart Palpitations. Is It The Withdrawal Effects? Suggestions?
Hello doctor , i was eating Beta cap 20 mg for chornic migrane from last two months i was told by my doctor to stop it gradually till 2nd week of june than stop completely . From 22nf June i am feeling Dizziness along with spinning of head and my heart beat is having palpitation . My BP yesterday was 70/100 . I AM 30 YR OLS MARRIED WOMEN .please advice if it is the withdrawal effects and how shld i overcome the same .

Hi, it may not be the withdrawal symptom, it may be recurance of the migraine.
I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe alprazolam at night, and ranitidine 300 mg in the morning , and and pain killers for pain when ever necessory.
If no improve ment you can add the betacap, for few days and then stop it gradually. Thank you.
