On Cefpodoxime Proxetil With Cetrizine Hydrochloride, Aceclofenac. Feel Tired Pain In Ribs. Is This Normal ?

I am taking Cefpodoxime proxetil tablets 200mg alongwith cetrizine hydrochloride and aceclofenac & paracetamol for 5 days course. I feel very tried and weak. Also after 3 days course, I have pain just below the ribs and feel little stomach is bigger. This is there for the past 24 hrs. Please advice, should I have to meet the doctor once again or this is normal and go after the course is taken.

cetrizine can have these side effects but rib pain is unique. it can be possible due to your disease(u have not mentioned).Despite taking aceclofenac u have pain,so u should visit your doctor for such symptom.thanks.

Hi thanks for using HCM.

The pain and bloating with these medications suggest gastrites. If you dony have fever and pain then can take tab Aceclofenac & paracetamol when required. Or else you continue any one of them. Take plenty of fluids with proper food and take these drugs only after food. Take Tab.Pantoprazole 40mg every night 30 min before food. This will relieve your symptoms. Hope I answered your queries.
