Hi - I am confused about my medication. I have Diltiazem, Cardizem and Amlodipine in my cupboard but am I taking too much medication? I can't remember if my doctor told me to replace the latest one I have been given (Amlodipine). I think Darizem and Diltiazem might be the same thing but with different names?? Are you able to help me please. Trish
Cardizem contains deltizem.
Hence diltiazem and cardizem are same.Only brand names are different.
Amlodepine is antihypertensive and diltiazem is a calcium channel blocker used as anti-arrhythmi.
Consult with your doctor for dosage.
Hope this helps you.For more queries you can write to me.
Thank you.
