On Lexapro For Panic Attacks And Extreme Sweating. Habit Of Smoking Marijuana Sometimes. Due For Blood Tests And Hormonal Tests. Possibility Of Marijuana Showing Up?
I was experiencing panic attacks and extreme sweating and was prescribed Lexapro. I have never had anxiety problems before and was concerned that it seemed to happen so suddenly. The Lexapro has helped some but I also smoke marijuana sometimes to relieve the sweating or anxious feeling. I mentioned being worried about a misdiagnosis to my gynecologist and she wanted to check my hormones and do some bloodwork to rule out any other possibilities. Is the marijuana going to show up in bloodwork since they aren't specifically checking for it? I don't want to ruin my test results if so.
Marijuana does not show in the blood. Urine test must be done to detect it.
Please do not get my words judgmental, but I would advise you to seriously think about your marijuana usage, not for your test results but for the sake of your own health.
Kind regards,
