On Subutex Detox, Suboxone. Suffering With Anxiety. On Melatonin As A Sleeping Pill. Time To Get Back Normal?
I am on day 6 from subutex detox. Been on for 5 years. Started at 16mg suboxone then thru the years was put on subutex. Down to 6mg, but I wanted to detox myself. Suffering with anxiety, feel like i am gonna jump out of my skin. I have been taking melatonin to try to sleep. It helps so I can get an hour here and there. when will I start feeling normal again? HELP!!
Please don't worry. Just hang on. The worst phase is over and it is going to get better from here day by day. It would have been easier if you had gone down to 4 mg and then 2 mg gradually before stopping. But now that you have managed to remain off it for more than six days, you are going to fine in a few more days, which will certainly be easier than the last week. Take lots of fluids and use over the counter pain medicines if required. If you can get a prescription for any benzodiazepines, try taking it for next four to five days. It will help relieve the anxiety and can be stopped once the withdrawal is over.
Hope this helps you. Best wishes.
