On Hypothyroid Medicines, Diagnosed With Hashimoto's Disease, Normal TSH, T4, Elevated TPO. Will It Lead To Psychosis?

Hi. I was just diagnosed with Hashimotos Disease today. I had hypothyroidism for a year and been taking 112mcg. My TSH and T4 are in the normal range. My T3 never tested, and my TPO is 2129 (doc said normal is less than 34) My question is will Hashimotos cause me to get psychotic? I read that a high level of TPO is prevalent in people with psychosis . I m worried :(

Hi ,
It is true that Psychosis can occur in people with hypothyroidism if it is left untreated. Besides, we have also seen young girls with myxedema madness when they have very high levels of TSH. If your TSH and Free T4 are in normal range, you don't have to worry
