On Medicines For PCOS, Persistent Irregularity In Cycles, Advised GMH5 Shots, Siphene. Will This Aid Conception?
I am having PCO s and have been on Metformin and Clomifene 50 (2tabs a day) for the last 4 months, prior to that I was on Diane for 2 cycles. Still i am having irregular periods and feel there is an hormone imbalance as I have alot of hair growth on my body, Now my doctor is suggested that i take 2 shots of GMH75 on the 3rd and 8th day along with Siphene 2 tablets for 5 days and metformin and then the follicle study on the 10th day, will this help in conceving.
As you have already tried clomiphene and metformin for about4 months, it is prudent to move on to gonadotropins. More over it seems you are more to the hyper androgenic side. Each doctors may have their own schedule of medications. The one suggested by your doctor appears to be more economical and convenient. All the best.
