ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, normally it takes 2 to 6 months for recovery from stroke.
After tracheostomy is closed he can speak with little speech therapy. But voice will b e altered.
But in case he has paralysis of the vocal cords then he will not be able to speak p roperly.
Dont worry he will get well soon.
