One Calf Seems To Be Larger And Heavier Than Other. Could This Be Due To Fungus In Toe Nails?
Hi my left leg calf is two cm larger then my right leg's . And this has occurred three years ago . The dr told me its only fat and that when I turn 4o years old it will stop , we'll recently I felt it heavy and It looked a little bit bigger so I measured both , they both increaseex but the difference is still two cm. could be because I've always had fungus in one of my toe's nails. Or a tooth abses or animia ...
It is possible that this could be due to a fungus in the toe. If the difference is only slight, then you need not worry. This is because it is possible for one side of the body to be bigger than the other side. The history of your tooth abcess makes me want to recommend you for regular heart examinations. This is because regular heart exams will go a great way to prevent any heart disease.
Also, anemia is treated with iron, so please get lots of that. In summing, I believe that your doctor is right in saying that it is just fat. For the fungal infection though, please meet a dermatologist who will be able to treat it. I hope this helps.
