One Year Old Child, Frequent, Loose And Watery Motions. Lactoguard Medicines Ineffective. Advise?

My 1 year baby is having loose watery type motions since from 1 week. Here doctor prescribed lactoguard medicines(probiotics). But her stools not yet recovered. She is having maximum of 6 to 7 stools in a day. My baby is having 4 teeths upper jaw and 2 teeths lower jaw(other 2 teeths about to come).
My question is: what is the correct medicine at this stage for my baby. And also please do suggest me proper food at this stage.

Hi
thanks for your query at HCM
generally antibiotics are not recommended for loose motions
you should give him extra fluid and ORS ,
monitor his hydration status
if there is any blood or fever or child starts vomit every thing then immediately visit you doctor

change his diaper after every loose stool
how nuch urine he is passing
continuous follow up to your gastroentrologist is necessary for 2nd line of investigations
i will be available for your help
wishing you a speedy recovery
take care
regards
Dr. Imran Hussain
