Opacity, Multifibrotic Bonds & Consolidation On Right Upper Lobe Of Lung On X Ray. Suggestions?
Chest PA for Sanjna 15 Yrs Female. taking akt 4 from last 2 months.(20-2-2013) Today we taken x ray for the same report of the Xray is: 1. Non homogenous opacity noted in Right upper lobe with multi fibrotic bonds. Rest of lung ffeilds are clear 2. Right upper lobe consolidation Nofever, no cough,no tiddeness from last one month Sputum reportis:Gram S smear normal flora with abundant squamous cella and a few or No Neutrophils
Sounds like there is either scarring in the right upper lobe or some kind of infectious process. To further evaluate this the best test to do would be a CT Scan of the Chest. This will give you the most/best information regarding the anatomy of the lungs.
