First of all, LSIL IS a technical term which indicates that there is just starting of a premalignant lesion. If it left untreated it will definitely convert into a malignant then malignant condition that is squamous cell carcinoma.
Human papilloma virus is the most common etymology of this condition. But as it is already LSIL then there is minimum role of HIV genome detection. Because whatever is the result the cervix and uterus alongwith varies (depending on age and family status) is to be operated.
