PRK Surgery Has Been Recommended For Me. Should I Go For This Procedure?

Prk surgery has been recommended for me. This is after cataract surgery and multi focal lenses implanted
which resulted in a swollen cornea and second eye in a swollen retina. Also extremely dry eyes. Should I have this procedure Done. I am 78 years young. Thanks

Hello
It seems from the history that you had a cataract surgery following which you hd swollen cornea for which PK surgery is recommended. PK is penetrating keratoplasty and it is done for corneal diseases like corneal oedema, corneal opacity...
Since it is the only option in your case you need to undergo the surgery.
It should be PK and not PRK as PRK is a type of refractive laser surgery and it is done for correction of refractive errors.
