PTT Count Showed High On Tests, Given Suboxone. Had Sleeve Gastrectomy. Is It Related?

I have been on suboxone for 2 years and I am now getting ready to have sleeve gastrectomy and in my prelab tests my PTT count was 41 and my doctor said this was a little high and is making me see a hematologist but I saw on other medical websites that normal range is between 25-40, is 41 considered high and if it is would suboxone have anything to do with it or what could be the reason for this number.

Hello, I have gone through your query.
In my opinion, suboxone is not an anticoagulant to increase you PTT levels. You might have taken some aspirin or related medicines. 41 is higher end of the normal value and its not too high but as the surgery is related to intestines you need to resolve it before having surgery.
Have a good health.
Thanks.
