Pain Below Knee Cap, Swelling, Warm Around Area, Standing For Long Hours. Treatment?

Hello I have question, I all of sudden had pain below my knee cap, not my knee, I think, but it is sore, swollen, red, and very warm around that area. I have not falling or hit it on anything. I do not what it could be. I do not have health insurance and I am seeing if I need to go to ER. It hurts and I have a job I need to be on my feet long hours as well.
