Pain, Bruise, Swelling On Left Shin After Been Kicked By Football, Icing Regularly. Relief?

Hi I'm having a pain on my left shin just on the inside (to the right) of the actual bone. I think I got kicked in football (about 2 weeks ago). It was bruised but no pain. Yesterday it became swollen and painful to walk on for no reason.
I've been icing as it feel very hot and throbbing. I'm not sure what it is. I play football regularly and usually heal quickly after knock and bumps. I haven't done any strenuous exercise for about a week as well.
Any advice please?
Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, it appears that you had an injury 15 days back in the play. There was a bruise, no pain. Next day there is swelling and pain. the cause may be there may be a hair line fracture of the shin.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis.
Avoid taking potato, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods.
I prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, oflxacin, ornidazole, and acyclophenac sodium.
Wishing for a quick and complete recover. Thank you.
