Pain During Urination, Light Green Discharge From Penis. History Of Having Unprotected Sex. Possible Chlamydia?
Hi do you deal with sexual health matters please
I am a man of 27 years old, recently had unprotected sex about a week ago and now I have pain urinating and now there is like a light green coloured discharge coming out of the end of my penis regularly. Is this Chlamydia, if so how do I treat it and how long does it take to cure? Also will this cause me future problems in having children as I am quite worried as this has never happened before??? Thank you

From history it seems that you are suffering from urinary tract infection.
You need few investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,RBS,Urine RE/ME,Urine culture and sensitivity,Penile discharge gram staining,VDRL,Ultrasound of abdomen.
Problem antibiotics can be given based on reports.
Don't worry your condition is curable.
Only colour discharge criteria for organism determination is crude and it should be confirmed by further investigations.
There won't be any problems to your children in future.

Welcome to HCM.
Greenish discharge following an unprotected sex is more towards urethrits due to STD. When it occurs within a weeks time it is quite unlikely to be Chlamydia. Gonococcal urethritis is more probable. Trichomonas urethritis also has to be ruled out. It has to be confirmed with appropriate investigations and other STDs have to ruled out with investigations. After confirmation it can be treated with appropriate antibiotics. All your sex partners have to treated simultaneously.
