Pain In Back Of Head, Chills, Slight Fever, Took OTC Pain Relievers. Treatment?
My spouse is experiencing severe headache pain in the back area of her head along with chills. She can not get warm enough, even with several blankets. Blood pressure is in her normal range and she has a slight fever, 99.5. This is her second episode today. /The first episode lasted about 2 hours, then pain eased to a dull throb and chills ceased. Now it is repeating itself. She took OTC pain relievers.

Mild degree fever with chills and severe headache in the back may be due to , 1 Urinary tract infection , diagnosis can be confirmed by urine test complete , culture and sensitivity test. 2 Typhoid fever is the another cause , diagnosis can be confirmed by Widal test . 3 Malaria usually occurs with chills and rigor but in malaria usually temperature elevates around 103-104 degree 4 dengue is another possibility because you are complaining intense headache that too in posterior part .
