Hi

I got hit in the chest and I went to the hospital they checked my heart and gave me an x ray at which nothing showed up i went to the hospital yesterday. I woke up today could barley get out of bed and now I'm receiving the same pain in my back I can hardly move and am finding it difficult to breathe. Should imago ack to the hospital more pain has developed and as I said its difficult to breathe I can't cough or sneeze as the pain is unbearable, is it possible the doctor missed something?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You need few more investigations before concluding any thing. You also need proper clinical examination.
You need CT Scan of thorax to exclude any traumatic injury to bony thorax or trauma to heart and lungs.
It is the best investigations and subtle findings can also be find out.
Treatment depends upon the findings.
At present you can take analgesics with muscle relaxants.
Get well soon.

Take care
