Pain In Centre Of Chest, Shortness Of Breath, Pain In Heart Area With Deep Breathing. High BP, Feeling Of Heart Beating In Chest. Help
Have been having some pain in the center of my chest. When I drink cold watrr it hurts there, too. Shortness of breath, deep breathsare uncomfortable or they hurt in the heart area. My blood pressure is very high when checked. Sometimes I can feel my heart beating or pounding in my chest. I have trouble relaxing and when I lay down I feel uncomfortable with my breathing. I cannot get a Dr.'s appt., and am starting to fedl very nervous. Shoild I go to the E.R.?

Hi, it appears to be due to the gastric irritation, as you are feeling it while drinking cold water. The rest of the symptoms may be due to apprehension.
