Pain In Ear, Fluid In Ear. Head And Ear Congestion, Bleeding Nose. Related Symptoms?

I m a 39yr old female, 5 3 and 112lbs. I have been having some ear pain in my left ear and it feels like there is fluid in there whenever I swallow . Tonight I woke up w/ sever head and ear congestion and my nose started to bleed. I recently got over a really bad cold but thought I was better. Any idea if my nose bleeding and my ear pain could be related. I never get nose bleeds .

Hello and thanks for writing in
Throat, nose and ear infection or congestion can occur all togather or one infection can cause the other to get infected. Nasal bleed can be due to the ear congestion that has spread to the nose. But need to be investigated for other reasons like hypertension, bleeding disorder etc.
Presently you need to get consult your GP as soon as possible and get proper treatment for nasal bleed and congestion. A antibiotic course may be ordered by your GP.
Meanwhile clear the air pathway and do not allow the nose to get block that can increase your problem and infection. Steam Inhalation can help you feel better.
