Pain In Foot, Gnawing And Hot Pain. What Should We Now?
my father is 87 and he has numerous problems but he has this pain in his foot that he describes like a gnawing feeling and it shoots like a hot pain in his foot and it drives him crazy can t hardly sleep at night and it does this all day long off and on he does walk treadmill like 1 1/2 miles a day do you have any ideas i know this is a weird one

The pain in the foot that he has is likely to be due to a nerve related pain most likely due to compression of the nerve root fibres at the level of the spinal cord. An MRI scan of the spine will help in proper diagnosis.
