Pain In Groin Area, Intense After Standing. Applying Abrufin. Healing Period?
Hello. For the last 4-5 months i have had a pain in the r/h groin area , the pain becomes intense, after standing - walking for about 5 hours , my doctor subscribed abrufin ointment but has little affect , i have no swelling or any obvious physical problem can you tell me if this is a long term injury which will take time to heal thank you .
As your symptoms have been persisting for the last 5 months, it needs a detailed clinical evaluation.
An xray of the hip joint is needed to know the status of the Hip joint. MRI scan is necessary to know the soft tissues status in and around the hip joint area.
So, I suggest you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for further evaluation and management.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
