Pain In Groin, Travelling Down Thighs, Calves. Groin Ultrasound Normal. Treatment?
I have been experiencing right side groin pain for a one and half years with pain travelling down thighs and calfs. Thought it may have been cyst or fibroid as had I had a very bad bleed 10 months ago. I had a groin ultrasound done today and it was clear. any further help would be appreciated? Thank you. YYYY@YYYY
Hi Mary,
Welcome to heathcare Magic!
Did you ever get evaluated byan Orthopedician.
If not I think you should get it now because at times such problems are common with chronic problems of hip joint where femoral nerve gets irritated.
Sometimes a coldabscess of psoas muscle may lead to a chronic pain like this.
An Orthopedician would be able to sort out the things after a physical examination.
Wish you a great health!
It mostly seems like a pain due to neuropathy. It may be a pinched nerve. In addition, sciatica is a possibility in you.
I do not think it is because of cyst or fibroid.
